Framed triggers
The performance.23.09.2023
Concert d'Albert Bayona (artista) i Antonio Torres (músic i productor).
Framed triggers.The film
The audiovisual work created by Antonio Miyagi and Albert Bayona is based on the project Framed Triggers by the artist House of Polymath (José R. Madrid Alonso). The work is inspired by the sound bank, which was fed by visitors to the exhibition 'Sound Affects'. It reflects the psychological impact of sound as a trigger. The work was presented on 23 September 2023 at La Panera Art Centre and has now been awarded the Critics' Prize by the Russian Institute of Cinema and Performing Arts Awards.

Zap
Zel Art Project was born in Geneva, after the enthusiasm of two composers from the Haute École de Musique, Isandro Ojeda-García and Léo Collin, together with the conductor and pianist Néstor Bayona. The idea from the beginning has been to create a platform for musicians, composers, dancers and artists in order to set up projects for new music.

Sundays on the Edge of the Empire
The idea for this project began from performing the two contrasting Domeniche from Fausto Romitelli. A composer with whom Zel Art Project (ZAP) has an special interest. He revolutionised new music by showing in his compositions a clear influence from spectral music to progressive rock and techno. Later on, the title of the works inspired us to create a story behind the music. With the translated English version Sundays on the Edge of the Empire, the performance will be developed from stating contrasting poles. For example, it will explore the idea of written music versus free improvisation; the contrast between hearing music-seeing performers with hearing music-seeing images; also the two impressions -Prima Domenica and Seconda Domenica- of one composer based on a specific title and the different impressions of each of our resident composers based on the same title. In this occasion, the ZAP team wants to collaborate with the artist Albert Bayona who has recently collaborated with the composer Daniel Cabanzo and our resident composers Isandro Ojeda-García and Léo Collin.

Flux II
2014. Music by Daniel Cabanzo, video by Albert Bayona, 08:50
Flux II is the second version of Flux, from the Latin word “fluxus” which refers to the flow or the idea of transporting either information, materials or energy. Flux is originally on stereo format and it is inspired by the flow of life, where the idea of adapting images to the music becomes stronger, finally achieving an audio-visual work where the images and the music share a synergy which complements each other. Flux plays with the sensation of the coming and going flow of people and situations that are perpetually changing and in constant movement, dying and being born and finally becoming an endless cycle of transformations in a continuous movement of "eternal return".
